For most people you would grow you garden in the ground, but for us we have to use a box. Our soil here in Phoenix is awful and since our backyard is the size of a parking spot we decided to try a box on the side of our house. These pictures are taken one month apart. I am really excited and hope our plants decided to keep growing.

how fun! My in-laws do their garden in a box as well! they have had tremendous success. Do you put down that black paper over the soil as well? good luck growing!
Your garden is looking great. I think you might have to give me some pointers. Maybe I need to build me a box.
You're so smart! We did a garden in a box, but totally didn't think to do it on the side of the house! How smart is THAT?! Gonna have to copy that for the summer garden!
